DEFRA digital waste tracking
Defra is seeking small waste firms to help shape its new digital waste tracking system. The department is inviting waste carriers, brokers and dealers to take part in user research that will inform the development of the service. They are particularly keen to hear from businesses with fewer than ten employees, as their insight is crucial to ensuring the system works effectively for organisations of every size.
Researchers are organising one-hour virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams, where participants will be asked about how waste is moved and traded in practice. Their feedback will directly inform the design of the upcoming digital service.
