The October webinar will introduce PaintCare, a voluntary, industry-led scheme to collect and recycle or reuse leftover decorative paint and its packaging in the UK. Currently, much of this waste is incinerated, but PaintCare aims to transform end-of-life management for paint products, with a target to recycle or reuse 75 per cent of leftover paint by 2030. The session will explore the scheme’s background, collection and reprocessing routes, recycling options and funding model, highlighting how it can support circularity and reduce environmental impacts.
