Carpet Recycling UK was invited to attend the Reuse Networks annual conference based in Manchester in October. The collaboration, networking and understanding developed from our two organisations are vital in understanding the wider implications facing the reuse sector for example POPs in certain waste streams.

CRUK and the Reuse Network are associated members of each other’s networks where we assist each other with enquiries and opportunities to help promote the reuse of household goods which includes all types of carpets and textile flooring products.

The Reuse Network consists of 120 members spread across the UK, providing reusable and recycled household items to low income households. Attending these events CRUK is able to keep the conversation going with the RNs members to promote and where possible stock carpet and textile flooring products.

We need your help!

The RN also has links with several housing associations throughout the UK, who are regularly looking for carpet and textile flooring products for their tenants.

Reuse Network are appealing to our members who can regularly supply carpet, vinyl, floor tiles and laminates of ethical standards, environmentally friendly and reusability to one of their larger housing organisations in the Telford, Shropshire, Staffordshire area.  If you can help please contact Carpet Recycling UK by email: info@carpetrecyclinguk.com
