‘Turning Insight into Action – Collaboration for Change’

1–2 July 2026 | Voco St John’s Hotel, Solihull

Open to members and non-members

As sustainability claims come under increasing scrutiny from regulators, customers and stakeholders, flooring businesses face growing pressure to ensure their communications are accurate, transparent and credible.

Taking place on Day 1 of the UKSFA Conference & Awards 2026, this interactive workshop session, Building Trust and Reducing Risk with a Green Claims Policy, will explore how organisations can navigate the evolving landscape of sustainability communications while protecting their reputation and reducing compliance risk.

Curated by Charlie Martin, Founder and CEO of the Anti-Greenwash Charter, the session will bring together expert perspectives from across the flooring industry. Charlie will be joined by Ross Dight, Technical and Sustainability Director at Tarkett UK & Ireland, and Tom Bourne, Creative Director at Select First, to share practical insights into developing robust green-claims policies and fostering greater trust through responsible communication.

Drawing on real-world experience, the panel will examine the challenges and opportunities facing businesses as they communicate sustainability commitments, highlighting the importance of accountability, evidence-based claims and industry best practice.

Whether you are responsible for sustainability, technical compliance, marketing or leadership within your organisation, this workshop will provide valuable guidance on strengthening the credibility of your sustainability messaging and reducing the risk of greenwashing.
