Carpet Recycling UK has a network of reuse and recycling companies within its membership with the capability and logistics to collect, process and use textile flooring again in the commercial sector.  One of its remits is to demonstrate to the flooring sector how commercial flooring can be taken back for reuse and recycling with a view to harnessing more surplus or used textile flooring for its members and in turn, decreasing the volume of waste lost to landfill.

We are seeing a new and positive trend showing reclaimed quality commercial textile flooring being repurposed and fitted into commercial and social spaces, demonstrating the quality and value of such products and the resource and cost savings to be made.

Carpet Tile Recycling (CTR) is a long-term member of Carpet Recycling UK and works closely with the two other companies in the family business – contract flooring specialist and CRUK member Forester Flooring Company (FFCo), and Carpet Tile Wholesale (CTW), an e-commerce wholesale sales platform for new, clearance and recycled tiles.

Recently CTR was able to save a huge amount of quality high grade commercial tile from one development and divert them through FFCo into another commercial development creating a positive story of collaboration and saving of resources, providing a quality product and service as well as reducing the project costs by half.
