Carpet Recycling UK missed catching up with retailers and flooring suppliers at this year’s cancelled exhibitions.

We would normally attend the two-day Buying Groups National Flooring Show  at Cranmore Park in May, talking to the Retail Buying Groups and their members as well as the exhibitors who normally include key manufacturers attending to display their latest ranges.

In addition, we have missed the three-day Flooring Show in Harrogate which has now been postponed until September 2021.

Attending the exhibitions allows us to talk to companies about their carpet waste, their products and services, to follow up and advise on outlets and sustainability in the design of carpets and textile flooring.  One of our key roles is to demonstrate take back and recycling of products like carpet offcuts which can be harnessed and used again in manufacturers’ processes.

Carpet Recycling UK’s recycling members are looking for carpet waste for their operations, we have updated the directory of reuse and recycling members – you can find the latest director of specialist carpet and carpet tile recyclers here
