UKSFA welcomes new member Uplyfted

We are thrilled to welcome Uplyfted to the UK Sustainable Flooring Alliance (UKSFA).

Uplyfted believe in creating value that extends beyond the floor.   Renewable modular carpets provide benefits for people, planet and pockets.  Their journey began with a mission to renew modular carpet that has been uplifted after first use and to create environmental and social value for those in social housing and other community initiatives.

Agustina Memoli, Co-Founder & Commercial Director explained, “Uplyfted partners UKSFA members to reclaim once-used carpet tiles, giving them new life via our renewal process and reducing waste. These collaborations fuel circular economy in soft flooring and open the door to ultra-low carbon alternatives – demonstrating practical ways our sector can deliver on sustainability goals.” 

Cathie Clarke, CEO, UK Sustainable Flooring Alliance, UKSFA added, “Re-use is a vital part of the flooring industry’s move to become more sustainable, and we are proud to support and promote Uplyfted on their work with housing associations and others to install high quality, durable flooring for occupants.”
