As a CRUK reuse member Envirocycle London has a clear strategy for recovering and reusing second hand carpet tiles. We target the recovery of waste at source and work with demolition, refurbishment and flooring contractors to source waste tiles.

Recent projects have included supply for a digital design company in Horsley Surrey – 25sqm of tiles were laid within 24 hours of the original uplift from the city, collaborating with a St Neots based mortgage broker to fund transport and fitting. For another project, we supplied 400 tiles to a local charity run adult education centre.

With landfill tax rising, our reuse program is an excellent option for green minded contractors to fulfil social responsibilities and reduce waste to landfill. We have achieved great things this year diverting over 80,000 carpet tiles for reuse in 7 months.
