Promoting textile flooring as a sustainable resource
Carpet Recycling UK conference 9th July 2020 Postponed – member awards to go ahead
Considering the current situation with the coronavirus, we regret to confirm that this year’s Carpet Recycling UK annual conference planned for 9th July 2020 has been postponed until further notice. Whilst we are disappointed that we will not meet our network face to face this summer, we will continue conversations online and over the phone as before and plan to disseminate new developments online.
We will invite members to submit their annual awards applications soon and present them virtually.
We will continue to monitor and communicate on the fields of design for recycling, manufacturing, waste reduction, breakthroughs in waste management, developing technology, flooring supplier experiences, policy and funding.
Call for papers to disseminate online Summer 2020
We invite individuals and organisations to connect with us to help disseminate new developments from within the industry in a virtual way to keep people updated.
Annual Awards for Carpet Recycling UK members 2020
We will prepare the application criteria for our annual awards and open these soon, with a view to presenting the winners online.
The awards will reward and demonstrate the efforts and developments of its members. Taking part in the awards can add significant market value for our members – would you like to be named Best Newcomer, Recycling Champion, Take Back Partner of the Year or Recycler of the Year? We will share the application link with members soon.
Exhibition
Thinking of our regular conference exhibitors, we acknowledge that this part of the conference provides great networking for all delegates and we thank those companies for their support. If you wish to share details of current products/services suitable for the carpet industry, please share these, we can put them together and share in a future e-newsletter. We can also display members’ literature on our stand at The Flooring Show in September, feel free to send us some material nearer the time.
Keeping in touch
Please support us by staying in touch, keeping us informed of progress within your projects so that we can help to increase the volume of carpet and textile waste used as a resource, to grow carpet recycling and landfill diversion outlets and promote circular design.
